The inaugural Kent AI Conference proved to be an outstanding success, bringing together business leaders, technology experts and professionals from across the region for a day of insightful discussion, practical learning and valuable networking.
Despite taking place on one of the hottest days of the year, delegates remained comfortable throughout thanks to the venue’s excellent air conditioning, allowing everyone to focus on a packed programme exploring the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence in today’s workplace.
The conference opened to a full auditorium for an inspiring keynote from Ashley Jeggo, AI Workforce SMB Sales Lead at Microsoft UKI, who presented The AI-Powered Workplace: How AI Is Transforming the Way We Work. Ashley explored how artificial intelligence is reshaping businesses, enhancing productivity and changing the way organisations of all sizes operate, while offering practical advice on embracing AI responsibly and effectively.
The opening session set the tone for the day and received exceptional feedback from delegates. One attendee from Dragonfly Vision commented:
“The Opening Keynote brought my understanding of current trends in AI up to speed.”
Many others described the keynote as an excellent overview of the current AI landscape, praising the practical insights and real-world examples that helped them better understand how AI can be applied within their own organisations.
Throughout the day, delegates enjoyed a comprehensive programme of expert-led presentations covering responsible AI adoption, governance, AI agents, business transformation, practical use cases and emerging technologies. The event also provided extensive opportunities for networking, allowing attendees to connect with industry experts, exhibitors, sponsors and fellow professionals who share a passion for innovation and digital transformation.
Alongside the main conference programme, delegates also had the opportunity to visit the AI Drop-in Clinic, where they could speak directly with AI specialists, discuss challenges specific to their organisations and receive tailored advice. Feedback highlighted the value of having access to one-to-one support alongside the conference sessions. The positive response has given the event organisers a strong foundation on which to expand and further develop the AI Drop-in Clinic, with plans to enhance the offering and provide even greater value for delegates at future Kent AI Conferences.
