Vivienne Neale
As an AI Transformation Lead, Vivienne works at the intersection of policy, practice and institutional reality. Known for a deliberately leftfield approach, she treats AI not as a tool for “implementation” but as a destabilising force that reshapes how knowledge, judgement and accountability operate inside public systems.
Her work focuses on what quietly breaks when AI enters decision-making environments: evidence trails, human understanding, governance assumptions and organisational confidence. Rather than chasing use cases or vendor roadmaps, she interrogates the conditions under which AI becomes normalised, challenged or resisted, particularly in high-risk public sector contexts.
Vivienne is known for surfacing uncomfortable questions early, refusing premature solutions, and designing governance to survive scrutiny months or years later. She works across leadership, delivery and assurance, helping her organisation stay intellectually honest as the ground beneath shifts.
